Has anyone seen this movie? It stars Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick, Jr. While it isn't going to be nominated for any big awards, it could not have been something more fitting for JB and myself to watch. "A high-powered consultant in love with her upscale Miami lifestyle is sent to a middle of nowhere town in Minnesota to oversee the restructuring of a blue collar manufacturing plant." Miami to Minnesota? Go figure! For that reason alone this movie absolutely CRACKED US UP! If you have any understanding of what Minnesota is like and any understanding of what South Florida is like, you will crack up as well. In addition, it takes place in New Ulm, which is just three hours from Rochester, MN. They even reference the Mayo Clinic in the movie. So cool! Like I said, no big award-winning movie here, but it is a cute romantic company made all the cuter by its ties to two of our former hometowns!

OK....yes....and it is hilarious isn't it?? I have heard that some people didn't think so, but if you have ever lived in Minnesota you definitely will! I am more surprised that you are just now seeing it Wendi!! You act like you are a busy mom or something and have more important things to do than watch movies!
We laughed so hard that movie. It is so the WHOLE far North. I really loved when she got stuck and what she put out the window.
